Now, Samsung has decided it is time to ditch notches and punch-hole cameras, at least for one of the upcoming devices in its range. Now we are hope Galaxy A series contender, the new upcoming smartphone will be the first from Samsung to feature a pop-up camera.
Notchless displays were the predominant theme of 2019, giving us our most immersive smartphone experience yet. Thanks to pop-up cameras, notches phones got rid of ugly punch holes as well as top bezels and manufacturing companies did hype these pieces of innovation up for a while.
SAMSUNG GALAXY A80
In the renders, we see a design approach that Samsung had only adopted on the Samsung Galaxy A80 but executed differently. The front of the device is clean, without any notches, and punch holes to look at. The bezels on the device are also mostly thin, as only the bottom bezel has some length to it.
The main highlighted of the device is the pop-up camera. The Samsung Galaxy A80 also had a pop-up camera. but It used a widely different rotating pop-up camera mechanism to use the same camera setup for both, the front and back.
One of the rears of the device is a vertically aligned triple rear camera array with flash, although we don’t have details on its specifications. In fact, we don’t have any specifications yet for the chipset either.
