Miracles happen, last Monday on Raw wrestler Rey Mysterio wons the U.S title after defeating the former United States Champion AJ Styles.
At first, the match was confirmed with Humberto Carrillo, but because of the OC attacked Humberto the match turned into a Fatal-Four way match between Rey Mysterio, Randy Orton, Ricochet, and Drew Mclntyre. Rey won the Fatal-four way match and become a #1 contender for the U.S title.
He got his shot right after the fatal-four way match and compete against the U.S champion AJ Styles. As the match goes on and comes to its finish The OC comes for interference but with the help of the Viper Rey wons the match.
Randy beats the OC and gives an RKO to AJ Styles, after which Rey gives a body splash and pin the champion and become the new United States champion. This victory really matters to Rey Mysterio, After losing against “The Beast” and the Universal Champion Brock Lesnar in survival series this Sunday.
Rey celebrates the win with his son Dominick after the match and gives a photoshoot as the new United States champion. Now, Rey Mysterio, is the U.S ( United States Championship ) title champion’s in WWE.
