The official website for The Promised Neverland announced that the second season, originally set for October 2020, will be postponed to January 2021 because of coronavirus pandemic. The Japanese government recently declared a national emergency in response to the ongoing health crisis. CloverWorks animated the first season with director Mamoru Kanbe, series composer Takahiro Obata. The first season is currently streaming on Crunchyroll, Funimation, and HiDive.
