During the opening weekend, The Last of Us Part 2 broke an impressive sales record for PlayStation, in its first 3 days on the market, the sequel moved 4 million units, making it the fastest-selling PS4 exclusive to date. The title reportedly sold a whopping 2.8 million digital copies in its launch month of June. This makes it the best selling Playstation exclusive within its respective launch month. For comparison, the analyst company also reports Marvel’s Spider-Man and Final Fantasy VII Remake jointly held the last record with 2.2 million each.
