The first movie Red was released on October 15, 2010, and a sequel Red 2 was released on July 19, 2013. Red actually started out as a DC Comics and Homepage series, which was created by Warren Ellis and Cully Hamner. After summit Entertainment provided a budget of just $58 Million for the movie, they were delighted to see it returns $199 million.

WHEN WILL IT RELEASE?
Red 2 is not being released until July 19, but the Lionsgate division has signed Jon and Erich Hoeber to write a 3 Part of the action franchise. And the screenwriting siblings wrote Red as well as Red 2. And the 2010 movie assembled Bruce Willis, Helen Mirren, John Malkovich, and Morgan Freeman and proved to have legs at the box office, grossing $90 million and $199 million worldwide.

No deals with the screencast have been made but insiders say if the story is approved, production could begin as early as January 2014.
Production on the Red 3 is due to start to begin rather soon, too as the publication added that cameras are set to start rolling in August 2016. Red 2 was not quite the huge success of the original, grossing $148.1 million, which stung even more because it was made for $84 million this time around. We can expect this new version to be released into India cinemas by either the end of 2016 and early in 2017. Erik Feig Lionsgate’s president of production will oversee the project for the studio along with the summit’s president of production Geoff Shaevitz.
