THE WITCHER SEASON 2 is an American fantasy drama series produced by Lauren Schmidt Hissrich and it is fully based on the book series by Polish writer Andrzej Sapkowski. The Witcher’s a Legend of Geralt of Rivia and the princess Ciri, who are linked together by destiny to each other.
This show is following three main protagonists at different points of time, exploring events to shape their characters, before merging into a single timeline.

And the 2 seasons of The Witcher could be poised for a Game Of Thrones crossover of sorts, as actor Kristofer Hivju has reportedly joined the cast Hivju portrayed fab favorite character and role Tormund Giantsbane in the HBO series and is rumored to act cursed nobleman Nivellen in season 2 of The Witcher.

RELEASE DATE
When season 1 has arrived on Netflix which contains 8 episodes. Netflix confirmed that in the starting of 2020 production set to begin in London, for a planned release in 2021.
THE EXPECTED STORY
We just can’t wait for the Witcher season 2 to come to Netflix. We expect that in the climax of season 1, Geralt of Rivia finds his destiny Ciri, Geralt needs to protect her, and save her from the Bad peoples who want to use her powers to destroy the world.
The Whitcher’s makers have said that they will continue to pull from events Sapkowski’s stories. which means the next material the show will likely adapt would be Blood of Elves and Time of Contempt.

In an interview Vulture, Hissrich said that ”I love to be challenged when I’m watching TV,” but concedes that that wasn’t the case for everyone. And the official confirmation of the trio’s return accompanied the season 2 announcement made by Netflix, with The Witcher showrunner Lauren Schmidt Hissrich telling Deadline.
