Medici (Italian: I Medici) is an Italian-British historical drama created by Frank Spotnitz and Nicholas Meyer. It collaborates with Frank Spotnitz’s Big Light Productions. And it is produced by Italian Lux Vide and Rai Fiction Medici is a show about a famous Italian family which served as bankers of the Pope during Renaissance Florence. The series deals with family drama and dealings after the death of the family patriarch, Giovanni de’ Medici. There are currently two seasons on Netflix.
