The most exciting and ambitious of the six original animated projects announced by Netflix earlier this month is Jorge Gutierrez’s Meso American fantasy epic, ”Maya and the Three.” Jorge only ever pitched ”Maya and the Three” one time, and only when the people at Netflix pished him to share his dream project that he didn’t believe anyone would let him make.
”So I sat down on Jan. 25th of this year and that was the first time I ever pitched ‘Maya,’ “he recalled. “No art, no writing, just an idea. And here I am 11 months Later, Knee deep in production.”
RELEASE DATES FOR MAYA AND THE THREE S1:
We can expect the series to be released by 2021 at the latest. The situations created by COVID-19 has been complicating matters a lot lately. No particular release date has been set for the release of the series as of now.

There is no confirmation regarding the cast and crew of the anime, but the director said that they are looking for new talent. An ambitious project like this requires a considerable amount of skill. No speculations of any character have been made along with Jorge Gutierrez.
WHAT WILL BE STORY OF THIS SHOW?
”A Caribbean wizard, an albino archer and a giant barbarian from the mountains- and if you break this down, it’s Dorothy, the scarecrow, the tin man and the Lion,” the director said. The series will be of 4.5 hours with 30 minutes of each episode playing individually.
He also said that the plot would be original following Maya across Mesoamerican on a search to find the great three warriors to help her and save her people. Will, she ever gonna find it? What are the challenges will she face? who will help her in finding the right and great warriors? Hold on guys season 1 will solve all the questions we have.
