WHY UNIVERSAL DELAYED THE RELEASE DATE OF FAST AND FURIOUS 9:
Everything was on track for Fast & Furious 9 to be released on May 22, 2020, and Vin Diesel seemed confident that it would be released on time. However, it was confirmed in March that the ninth outing in the hugely popular series would be delayed for an entire year to April 2, 2021, in the UK and US.
