YoungBoy Never Broke Again has just dropped his latest album, 38 Baby 2. This is the sequel to his 2016 project 38 Baby and came with a brief promo video that shows YoungBoy on the road and back home. He also recently tweeted that this Friday he’ll “never release a song/album again until I’m in a better situation #PROMISE.”
While that doesn’t sound too promising for young boy fans, this project will hopefully continue the hot streak that youngBoy Never Broke Again has been having. He was most recently featured on DaBaby’s latest album Blame It on Baby and got the Reel Goats visual treatment for the quarantine-friendly music video.
He also dropped his first full-length release of the year a few months ago with Still Flexin, Still Steppin. Fans are also still hooked on his 2019 project AI young boy 2 which debuted at No.1 on the Billboard 200 charts and was his first No.1 placement.
YoungBoy has also still been dealing with the various different altercations and legal issues as of late, most recently getting into it on social media with Kodak Black, who he’s had longstanding issues with. Earlier this month, YoungBoy took to Instagram Live to address Kodiak following comments he made regarding the alleged stabbing of the mother of YoungBoy’s child by Iyanna Mayweather. This was all sparked from Kodiak saying that YoungBoy might have “cooperated” with the police following the alleged altercation.
NBA YoungBoy has spent the last two years dropping projects non-stop, including his debut studio album Until Death Call My Name, the 4Respect, 4Freedom, and 4Loyalty series, and AI young boy 2. A number of those releases received commercial success, with Until Death Call My Name peaking at No. 7 and AI young boy at No. 1 on the Billboard 200.
