Reality stars Kristin Cavallari and Jay Cutler have revealed they are divorcing after ten years together. On Sunday, the pair shared joint statements on Instagram about making the “loving conclusion to get a divorce” and added that it was “just the situation of two people growing apart.”
They both shared different pictures on Instagram with the same statement. Cavallari shared a photo of the pair with their arms around one another as they walked down a colorful street.
Her post was captioned, “With great sadness, after 10 years together we have come to a loving conclusion to get a divorce. We have nothing but love and respect for one another and are deeply grateful for the years shared, memories made, and the children we are so proud of.”
“This is just the situation of two people growing apart. We ask everyone to respect our privacy as we navigate this difficult time within our family,” she continued. Cutler shared the same statement with a black and white image of him and the Very Cavallari star smiling for the camera.
The pair married in 2013, after initially calling off their engagement in 2011 and then making up again the same year. They have three children together, their sons Camden, 7, and Jaxon, 5, and their daughter, Saylor, 4.
They recently faced backlash for their decision to isolate in the Bahamas – something Cavallari called a “modern family spring break” – two days after a national state of emergency was called in the US due to the coronavirus pandemic.
Neither Cutler or Anderson were pictured together in one another’s Bahamian holiday pictures. Prior to their divorce announcement, Cutler last featured on Cavallari’s social media in February in a post about their Aspen holiday calling them “Dumb and Dumber.”
