When the world is facing a huge problem of coronavirus. The new virus updates are coming from china known as Hantavirus. This is mainly spread through the Rodents. A report in global times says that this virus is mainly spread from china. And a man Yunnan province died from this new virus while he was on a bus in Shandong Province. This virus normally causes infection in rodents but does not cause disease in them. A human may normally be infected from hantavirus through a contract with Rodent urine, saliva, and feces.
Symptoms of this virus are also the same as the coronavirus but only one or two symptoms are different. The main symptoms are – dry cough, fever, cold, body aches, headaches, diarrhea, and abnormal pain. But in the more infected people, there is shortness of breathing, fatal, Nausea and vomiting.
Diagnosing HPS is can be challenging. There are no tests for the hantavirus. This virus is the family of Hantaviridea. This virus is named for the Hanta river area in South Korea where an early outbreak is observed and was isolated in 1976. Hantavirus is a newly discovered virus in the genus of the virus. The best prevention of hantavirus is to minimize the number of rodents in their homes, offices, and campsite. Control of rats in their area is key to prevention of the hantavirus .
