The shooter’s motive is currently under investigation, and authorities believe that his ideology may be connected to the crime. Although the investigation is ongoing, there are indications that Garcia subscribed to far-right extremist beliefs.

Wylie ISD has confirmed 4th grader Daniela Mendoza and 2nd grader Sofia Mendoza were killed in the Allen shooting. The sisters attended Cox Elementary in Sachse.

Officers have reported that at the time of the shooting, Garcia was found wearing a patch bearing the acronym “RWDS,” which stands for “Right Wing Death Squad.” This same patch was worn by a member of the Proud Boys who pleaded guilty to seditious conspiracy during the Jan. 6 attack on the U.S. Capitol.
Garcia’s victims were predominantly of Korean and Indian descent, and social media accounts attributed to him exhibit white supremacist and neo-Nazi beliefs.
According to police, Garcia’s family, friends, and neighbors are being interviewed to gather more information about him and to understand the circumstances that led to the deadly assault. Young Sofia Mendoza lost her life in this terrific incident.

A total of 8 people have been gunned down at the outlet mall including Sofia Mendoza who studied in second grade.
The Wylie Independent School District says two of their children are among the victims killed in Saturday’s shooting at the Allen Premium Outlets and ourth-grader Daniela Mendoza, 11, and second-grader Sofia Mendoza, 8, were identified as victims in a statement sent to parents within Wylie ISD.
The district said their mother, Ilda Mendoza, remained hospitalized in critical condition as the Texas Department of Public Safety identified the girls as Sachse residents and the letter said the sisters attend Cox Elementary.
“Words cannot express the sadness we feel as we grieve the loss of our students. Our thoughts and prayers are with the Mendoza family, the families of the victims, and all those affected by this senseless tragedy,” said district superintendent David Vinson.

- Christian LeCour, was 23 years old.
A Hero officer has luckily saved countless lives, at the mall, the Allen council member revealed.
The “hero” police officer who shot and killed the gunman on Saturday “saved an untold number of lives on that day,” Allen City Council member Mr. Dave Cornette said.
The officer, who happened to be at the shopping center for some other gunshot that was held before the mass shooting shot the suspect, but the hero officer has not been publicly identified yet.
