If rumours are to be true, then Enrico Balbo will join the team at Maranello by 2024.
Ferrari in talks to bring in Enrico Balbo
Italian journalist Fulvio Solms of the Corriere dello Sport revealed the name of the forst enginner in talks with Ferrari. Solms reported:
“One could be Enrico Balbo, head of aerodynami in Milton Keynes and, therefore, a really good engineer who can me a difference when you have him in your team”
If the Italian engineer does join, he would be the third most important technician among the aerodynamicists in the team. Adrian Newey and technical director Pierre Waché are the other names ahead of him.
Meanwhile, renowned photographer Mark Sutton shared images of Red Bull boss Christian Horner on Sunday morning in Bu, leaving the Ferrari hospitality. Horner was presumably there to spe with his French counterpart. The image reveal the British manager’s happiness at being “caught” by his historic rivals.
Enrico Balbo brief bio and age
Enrico Balbo is a 43-year-old Italian engineer who currently serves as head of aerodynami at Red Bull Racing and Red Bull Technology. He has been serving at the role since July 2021. Before he began his career, Enrico Balbo studied in Italy, where he obtained a five-year degree in aerospace engineering from the Polytechnic University of Turin back in 2004.

Enrico works as an engineer in aerodynami, and has been working with Red Bull since back in January 2018. Prior to his role head of aerodynami, he was in charge of aerodynamic development for 19 months.
Enrico started out his career, by spending 7 years at Williams, from June 2006 to December 2013. There, he worked in various roles, first working as a simple aerodynamicist, and then as a track aerodynamicist, and finally as head of the aerodynami team.
Enrico then joined Mercedes from January 2014 to December 2017. There, he worked as the leader of the aerodynami group and worked on future racing cars. He eventually joined Red Bull the following year.
