A NASCAR race on Sunday was more like a boxing match than anything else after top drivers Ross Chastain and Noah Gragson got into a physical brawl on pit road.
Ross Chastain and Noah Gragson, two NASCAR drivers, got into a brawl after the race at Kansas Speedway, where Denny Hamlin defeated Kyle Larson for the victory and the $7.5 million prize money.
Ross Chastain punches Noah Gragson during fight in NASCAR pit road, fight video goes viral
Chastain rammed Gragson’s car into the track wall after the AdventHealth 400 NASCAR Cup Series race at Kansas Speedway, effectively terminating the driver’s day. This is when the argument began.
Gragson confronted Chastain about the incident after the race because he was visibly outraged by the behavior; especially since the two had a previous confrontation at a race earlier this year.
According to the video of their fight, the two had a verbal exchange before Gragson grabbed Chastain.

Before Chastain delivered a powerful right hand that impacted on Gragson’s cheek, the two got into a struggle.
Gragson made an attempt to retaliate by striking back, but NASCAR security stopped him and the situation from going worse.

Gragson told FOX after the incident that he was “sick and tired” of the way Chastain has been competing and that he wanted to express that to the driver.
Generically responding to the argument, Chastain remarked, “We have a no-push policy here at Trackhouse.”

Denny Hamlin was the race’s winner, and during the post-race press conference, he was noted to have liked watching replays of the altercation between Chastain and Grayson.
Meanwhile, in Sunday’s race, the 15th since the start of the current NASCAR season in February, Chastain placed sixth and Gragson 29th.
Driver for Joe Gibbs Racing Hamlin has gone 33 races without a victory since the Coca-Cola 600 of the previous season.
The 42-year-old not only achieved a record-breing fourth victory at Kansas but also gave his team its 400th victory in the NASCAR premier series overall.
