Thanasi Kokkinakis Illness: Australian Tennis Player Battled With Depression
Thanasi Kokkinakis is not currently unwell, however, he has had some issues in the past. The professional tennis player has spoken honestly about his struggle with depression.
Kokkinakis discussed his mental disorder on the Ordineroli Speaking Podcast in March 2021. During that period, Kokkinakis said that his years of physical problems had taken a toll on his mental health.
He described the entire period while he was struggling with his mental health. He would wander into cafés, feel anxious, and then leave when he was down.

Thanasi Kokkinakis’s health is OK, although he has struggled with his mental health in the past.
He didn’t even have favorable ideas at the moment. Similarly, Kokkinakis used to cry in public for no apparent reason. He then began to focus on himself and worked hard to get back on his feet.

As of 2023, Thanasi Kokkinakis is doing fine, and there are no problems with his health. As stated earlier, he battled with depression and now is slowly improving.
Apart from his battle with his mental health, Thanasi has also faced some problems with some diseases. His 2020 began by losing 14kg and was also dealing with tonsils.

After suffering from glandular fever, he was hospitalized for a week, and after that, his weight dropped. While in the hospital, his tonsils and adenoids were also removed.
Due to that, he was also ruled out of the 2020 Australian Open. Being a professional tennis player, Thanasi has also faced some injuries. In the same year, Thanasi suffered injuries to his shoulder, abdominal and pectoral.
