Stephen 'tWitch' Boss Tragically Passed Away Unexpectedly, Leaving his Estate to be Managed by his Wife, Allison Holker

After Stephen “tWitch” Boss’s untimely passing, his wife, Allison Holker, has taken action to ensure her late husband will always be looked after. She filed for control of his estate as a way to protect their memories together and guarantee a bright future ahead.

Holker took a big step on Wednesday to secure their future. He filed an important petition in California that could grant them access to the estate of a deceased spouse. The law guarantees surviving spouses half of any joint assets acquired during the marriage. But they must file paperwork proving their connection first. Holker made sure they didn’t miss out by taking this proactive measure!

Unfortunately, Boss passed away without leaving a will behind. His wife is now asking to take on the responsibility of managing their property.

After a lifetime of performing, the So You Think You Can Dance alum tragically passed in December 2022 after taking their own life at age 40. The Minnesota native’s beloved family was left heartbroken. They also released an emotional statement to honor them. It shows just how much love there was for this special person.

Holker’s voice was heavy with emotion as she shared the devastating news that her husband, Stephen, had departed. His presence, humor, and warmth made him a beloved friend in every circle he interacted within. He treasured family life above all else. He brings joy to everyone around him through his dedication and unyielding love for others. To say our world will be a little less bright without Stephen’s light is an understatement. Yet we can take solace in those memories of how much happiness and fulfillment he brought us throughout the years!

The choreographer was overwhelmed by the profound influence Boss left on others. She insisted that a day would never pass when he won’t be remembered. She also asked for privacy for herself and their three children during this difficult time. Her heartfelt farewell was filled with love: “We love you, we miss you Stephen – I’ll save that last dance just for you.”

Since returning to social media, the Dancing With the Stars alum has kept Boss close in their heart and celebrated them through sweet tributes.

My husband, the one and only Superman in my life – I love you unconditionally now and forever. You were our constant source of light that will never be forgotten, with your warmth radiating throughout this world. Thankful for all those cherished memories we built together!

Holker and Boss met on the set of If You Think You Can Dance in 2010 and hit it off right away. Things were so delightful that three years later, they got married! Fast forward a few more years, having welcomed a son Maddox in 2016 and daughter Zaia just last year; their family was complete with Holker’s adopted daughter Weslie from an earlier relationship joining them as well – how wonderful is that?
