The pace of the story went hectic as we entered the events of Secret Class Chapter 176. With little to no build-up, we see another get-together of characters without any further notice, and it is already clear what is going to happen in the Manhwa. Though the artist draws so well, everything is excused in the end, and the plot has less value.

However, it is to be said that in the last few chapters, the story has been changing directions with not much explanation, as if the main team behind the series decided on one thing one week and decided on another the next. It could be due to the Manhwa’s length, as the Manhwa of this genre typically doesn’t go on for this long.

And again, the credit for that goes to the amazing art that brings out the best of character in the designing aspect of things. However, it was the plot in the early days and/ or the lack of an accountable protagonist that carried the story as well. The latter has more or less disappeared at this point.

Secret Class Chapter 175 Recap

Secret Class Chapter 175 was another harmless chapter as Daeho was not caught when he had his brain turned off. Though in this, everyone seems to have their brain turned off at this point, things just happen, and everyone goes with the flow. Then some parts of the story are so rushed it would seem as if a few chapters were scrapped just to skip to action.

Now, that is not too bad of a thing, as the whole reason Manhwa is popular is because of its action. Take all of it out, and it wouldn’t be an understatement to say that Manhwa is not worth reading. However, a cohesive plot is always nice to have.

Just like how, in the beginning, things were slow, yet the team took time to work out the story beats. And once one of them was done, we moved on to the next one while also getting foreshadowing for the future. If the Manhwa were to suddenly stop now, it wouldn’t be too surprising as it is clear that the story has no direction.

Secret Class Chapter 176 Spoilers

Secret Class Chapter 176, just like the chapter before it, could be another bait and switch. The Manhwa has done that a few times now as there are no new venues for it to explore or it wants to explore. The problem of the story’s progression could be solved by introducing new characters and creating tension among the existing cast. Though this Manhwa is doing that, just not in a good way.

Dae-Ho’s best friend recently got a girlfriend, and he was all too happy to have her. Dae-Ho was jealous of them for a little and decided to sniff through his family’s closet (technically) until he calmed down and forgot all about it. But it seems that the writer wants to revive that dead horse and remind us that it is a possibility for a thing that could take place.
