One Piece Chapter 1086 will be the next one, and it seems Oda sensei is on a streak to provide an amazing new chapter one after another. The last few chapters of One Piece are mind-blowing, and the things that occurred during the Reviere are surely the most narrative progress we have seen so far. One Piece Chapter 1085 could be one of the amazing chapters, and while it did not revealed what exactly is the meaning of “D”, we sure learned a lot about Imu as well.

King Cobra was a hidden gem himself, and we learned a lot thanks to him, but it ended with his death even though Sabo did his best to protect him. It was too much for Sabo to handle six enemies at once, and given that they are top of the powers, it surely isn’t helping. But Cobra’s death made this incident to us and the revolutionary army, including some info about “D” and the existence of Imu that was supposed to be hidden.

From the silhouette of Imu, fans have started to conclude that they have a body type of female proportion, and from the context, it is highlighted that they were from 800 years ago when the world government was founded. Even the thought of “D” made Imu or Mu, as they referred to themselves, really mad and attacked King Cobra. 

Thanks to Sabo’s intervention, he surely helped convey the message, if nothing else, in return for King Cobra’s death. Now we also know how come Vivi and Wapol are together on Morgan’s ship as well. One Piece Chapter 1085 – Recap

One Piece Chapter 1085 was titled “The Death Of Nefitari Cobra,” and the chapter begins with the room where Cobra is surprised by the appearance of Imu. Cobra ponders that no one is ever supposed to sit there and is terrified by seeing Imu sitting on the empty throne.

Imu begins the conversation by referring to themselves in a third person perspective calling their name by Mu and telling Cobra that they will respond with their answer, but the latter shall also respond to their question. Surprised, Cobra directly asks Imu who they are and states that he is heard the name Imu before, which was the name of one of the founders from back then.

Imu says that they won’t answer this question, but they will respond to the earlier question about “D” and begin telling him that the D is the sworn enemy of ancient times; however, the meaning of the D is unknown to the world, and even though who carries the name does not what it means thus it has become nothing but an echo. 

However, the name still gives them trouble, and it is all due to Queen’s blunder about 800 years ago. Imu adds to the conversation, saying that this blunder is what made the pirates go around the world searching for the Poneglyphs that would lead them to the treasure, and it is Queen Lili’s fault that the poneglyphs were scattered around the world.

Adding to the conversation, Imu says that the release of Poneglyphs was the worst-case scenario, and they say that Queen Lili must have planned this rather than a blunder. Thus, Imu begins to ask a question to Cobra if the truth about this blunder lies in the letter which was left in the clan and asks the latter about the full name that Queen Nifiteri Lili had referred herself to.

King Cobra Responds To Imu, And Sabo Comes To Rescue Him

Before responding to the aforementioned question, King Cobra monologues that they have got him and he won’t be able to live this room alive. Thus, King Cobra asks that even if he were to respond with any other answers, they won’t let him go. The five elders responded, saying that King Cobra’s fate was decided the moment he saw Imu.

As King Cobra responds to their question, we see a look at Sabo, who is near this room and feels something off about it, and goes to check out. King Cobra responds to Imu’s question saying that the letter was signed by “Nefeterai D Lili,” and as soon as he responds, a black arrow pierces his body which seems to be an attack from Imu.

One of the five elders notices that there is someone else in the room and comes in attack with his sword and devil fruit power to rescue King Cobra. Imu is angry that there is someone else in the room as well and we see that five elders transform into beast-like creatures, but we see silhouette rather than their full appearance.

It must be a Zoan-type devil fruit that they must have eaten. Sabo states that he was hoping to take out all of them in a single move but is sad that he could not do so and tries to contact the other revolutionary army, but he cannot do so. King Cobra is glad to see Sabo and recognizes that he is Luffy’s brother and asks him. 

Sabo is happy to help him even though he is from the revolutionary army and plans to take him away. King Cobra insists that he must leave him and adds that he must deliver a message and not die here with him and says that he needs to tell Vivi and Luffy that they share the name “D” and adds that he knows the path his country must follow as Sabo reminisced about Luffy and Ace when they were children discussing their name.

King Cobra Let’s Sabo Escape While Wapol Unintentially Helps Vivi Get Out

Moving forward, King Cobra tells Sabo about something regarding the Poneglyphs that they must be protected, and they both get hit by the black arrows. King Cobra shields Sabo as the latter makes his escape. The five elders notice that there is someone spying on them, and it is revealed that it is King Wapol, and he is scared of what he saw even though he did not mean to.

Wapol intends to run away, saying that they will surely kill him. Meanwhile, we see that Vivi is captured by the CP0 agents that, include Kalfa and Jabra, after the Reviver decides to move forward without King Wapol and Cobra. Vivi asks about why she is apprehended and also asks about Shirahosi, to which Jabra responds that she should worry about herself as she might be here moving forward for the rest of her life.

However, he also responds to her question that everyone made it out there alive thanks to Fujitora’s action, which resulted in Ryokyugu and him fighting. Thus, Wapol enters the room where Vivi and CP0 are, and seeing the opportunity, Vivi grabs onto Wapol making a successful escape from the Reviere.
