Nigerian politician, Honourable Opeyemi David Falegan has put smiles on the faces of commercial motorcycle riders in Ekiti state amid the rise in fuel price.
The ex-lover of actress, Nkechi Blessing took the okada riders to a filling station and had their tanks filled with petrol.
Opeyemi, who is also a philanthropist embarked on the social good project to cushion the effect of the fuel subsidy removal.
The new price of petrol in Ekiti as adjusted by NNPC is N500 per litre.
A video shared on his foundation’s social media page shows the motorcyclists queuing up at the filling station and filling their tanks one after the other.
They formed a long line with their motorbikes and were patiently waiting for their turn to enter the petrol station and get fuel.
Opeyemi who revealed his kind gesture on Instagram, wrote; “Free fuel for Ekiti okada riders in Ekiti state by Hon opeyemi david falegan ( ODF) amid scarcity in Ekiti state. All service to humanity.”
