Rapper EL has explained why he’s likely the lone artist whose lookalike won’t be identified, in light of the increase in people in Ghana who bear a strong likeness to popular musicians.
The former Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMAs) Artiste of the Year claimed that due to his height, it would be hard for any aspiring musician to claim that he resembles and embodies him.
EL claimed that no one could be deemed his lookalike because he is too tall during an exclusive conversation with Amansan Krakye.
“As for me, I’m too tall for a look-alike. Nobody is as tall as me, so unless you find someone who matches my height, they can be my look-alike,” he remarked during his conversation.
EL made headlines not too long when he shared an intriguing facet of his personality unbeknownst to his fans all this while.
The Artiste of the Year at the 2016 Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMA) shared how he had hustled in the USA to make ends meet.
In a recent interview with 3Music TV, EL admitted that there was a time when, despite still being regarded as a big singer in Ghana, he had to work as a food delivery man in the US simply to keep body and soul together. He claimed that experience taught him humility.
Time teaches you so many valuable lessons and it changes you, especially when you go through a few things. I’ve passed through before.
There was a point in time in the States I had to start doing food delivery. Yeah, it was that deep. I delivered food door to door just to keep myself going,” he disclosed in the interview.
I’ve actually passed through things and that stuff teaches you things like humility. So anytime I see an artist and they come to me for advice the first thing I tell them is cool down, you know see anything yet.
