Lisa Marie Presley the 54-year-old popular singer-songwriter death cause is still unknown even after a week after her sudden demise. The medical examiner of Los Angeles County has requested to extend the investigation of the singer’s autopsy to get the findings and causes behind her death as her death cause is still unclear and yet to be confirmed.
Initial investigations were done but the results were unreliable and failed to find out the cause of death. As per a medical examiner spokesperson, doctors have got the right to perform some additional tests and investigations, but they have not confirmed any exact time as to when the findings will come out.
We reached out to prominent Dr. Sanjay Gupta and he explained that there are many parameters to be considered that are leading to the delay of Lisa’s death’s cause finding. He also added that, from the initial autopsy investigation, trauma, blood clot, and infections were significantly seen, but rather than these obvious medical conditions there are still some more aspects beyond what is causing the deferral.
Spokeswoman Sarah Ardalani also added that she will not reveal what tests and additional studies are being carried out as it is a running investigation to find out the death cause. There are no reports of any police inquiry, a spokesperson said that the matter is looked after by the medical team only.
The legendary star breathed her last on Thursday, January 12, 2023, right after she suffered from a cardiac arrest at her residence in the Calabasas-Agoura Hills. One of her housekeepers then called on 911 as soon as Lisa was found vulnerable and immediately moved her to West Hills hospital, where the hospital authority confirmed her death at 5:08 p.m. As per the investigation of “The New York Post”, Lisa had a last conversation over her phone with a man, the male audio is suspected to be of Lisa’s former husband Danny Keough.
Earlier on the same day, Lisa’s mother Priscilla Presley informed fans via a Facebook post from her handle, that Lisa was moved to the hospital and asked for prayers. Shortly after the post, her official team posted another one, stating about the shocking death of Lisa and asking for privacy in the tough time.
According to the reports, the demised soul, the only daughter of Elvis Presley, Lisa Marie Presley, had her 55th birthday just around the corner. Along with it, just a couple of days ago, she was seen making a glam appearance at the event of the Golden Globe Awards.

Lisa Marie will be laid to rest at Graceland beside the grave of her son, Benjamin Keough, who died in 2020 due to suicide. The legendary singer’s memorial details have been released officially on Graceland’s website, the funeral ceremony will take place on January 22 and will begin at 9 am on Graceland’s Front Lawn. Reportedly, the general public is invited to pay a last visit to the legendary, they can also attend it virtually via the online Livestream of Graceland’s official page.
