Recognizing his significant contributions, Lascelles Chin received the prestigious Order of Jamaica, the nation’s fourth highest civilian honour, in 2001. In addition, he was bestowed with two honorary degrees: Doctor of Laws from the University of Technology, Jamaica, and Doctor of Humane Letters from Northern Caribbean University.
Lascelles Agustas Chin established three companies: LASCO Manufacturing Ltd., LASCO Distributors Ltd., and LASCO Financial Services Ltd. Currently, he holds the esteemed positions of Executive Chairman at LASCO Distributors Ltd., LASCO Manufacturing Ltd., and LASCO Financial Services Ltd.
Furthermore, Lascelles Chin actively contributes to society as a member of the board of the Kings House Foundation and as a Director-Standards Council at the Bureau of Standards Jamaica. He is also a proud member of the Rotary Club of St Andrew North.
Unfortunately, Lascelles Agustas Chin died on May 28, 2023. He was 86 at the time of death. Chin died whiles receiving treatment in the United States.

Eileen Chin joined the LASCO Group of Companies in 1999, where she worked in marketing, product and label development, and foreign business development for Central and South American markets.
In 2008, Eileen was named General Manager of LASCO Foods, LASCO Food (Successors) Limited, and LASCO Properties. Dr Eileen Chin is a Non-Executive Director on the Boards of Directors of LASCO Manufacturing Limited and LASCO Distributors Limited. She has an MBA in Global Management and skills in negotiation, risk management, and Lean Six Sigma.
