The elder sister of Diraz is introduced to Princess Canola in Hawar in the Winter Garden chapter 17. Her glance was a little strange. It appeared as though she was blind. She responded that Canola shouldn’t have come to meet her if she didn’t know who she was when Canola questioned whether she was Diraz’s older sister.
Canola assured her that she had no ulterior motivations and had only been dispatched to the spot by his majesty. When Lady Vidium discovered that, she stood up and asked Canola whether she was an assassin. Canola objected.
Canola became concerned that Lady Vidium might have become involved in some sort of political dispute after hearing her spe that way. Canola responded by explaining that she was getting married to Husa when she was asked why she had traveled there. She was ten aback by this since she couldn’t believe her brother had chosen an Outlander to be Husa’s fiancée.
She is informed by Canola that since his majesty signed the engagement documents, he did accept her. After all he had gone through, Lady Vidium was indignant that he would accept an outsider as Husa’s fiancée. She learned that Canola had been brought there by Heumir.
