The Talk Show host took to Instagram to officially announce that production of season 12 of her eponymous chatfest will start on September 21. The Wendy William show shuttered production in March alongside other film and TV productions due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Yesterday, New York entered Phase 4 of its reopening plan, with restrictions on capacity and crew.
The nationally syndicated Wendy Williams show is produced and distributed by Debmar Mercury and has been renewed through the 2021-2022 season by the Fox Television Stations.
Williams’s Instagram post did not provide specifies about the show’s season 12 format other than nothing unspecified changes to the set. After a few weeks, Williams took an indefinite hiatus from the show, citing complications related to her Graves disease.
