Westworld is HBO’s one of the top-rated sci-fi series till now. Recently, the third season starts siring on HBO, and some episodes still left to broadcast. Fans were thinking that the announcement of the new season will come after the last episodes finishing airing. But here’s good news for everyone, HBO recently renewed the Sci-fi series for a fourth season just somedays after the airing of the third season. HBO didn’t take much time to announce the new season because Westworld is a very popular series around the world. The court season did not receive a release date for now. Sources are saying it will appear around late 2021.
“Westworld” may not be posting monster live+same-day TV ratings, but it remains a popular all-format draw for HBO. It also continues to generate considerable buzz, media attention, and fan discourse.
“From the Western theme park to the technocratic metropolis of the near future, we have thoroughly enjoyed every twist and turn from the minds of master storytellers Jonathan Nolan and Lisa Joy, said HBO’s Casey Bloys. “We can’t wait to see their inspired version takes us next.”
Two episodes remain in the show’s eight-installment third season. None of the season’s first six episodes reached 1 million live+same-day viewers, but HBO trumpets considerable growth from streaming and DVR. According to the network, the season premiere reached an all-in audience of nine million (despite only garnering 900k for its initial TV airing).
HBO is clearly happy with the ratings the show continues to pull in too, despite the now customary two-year break between each fresh set of episodes. Those who are on board with the continuing murder robot shenanigans can, in turn, look forward to seeing more when season 4 presumably premieres on HBO 2022.
