The Politician is an American comedy-drama TV series. It is one of the great works of Ryan Murphy along with Brad Falchuk and Ian Brennan. Showrunner Ryan Murphy had already revealed that the show had started production for a season 2 return in November 2019.
WHEN WILL IT RELEASE?
There is no official release date of season 2. The production process for season 2 had started on 19 November 2019. According to inside reports, the show is expected to get released in July 2020. Season 1 was released on 27 of September 2019. Though due to the outbreak of COVID-19 Pandemic many release schedules are being delayed and canceled.
THE CAST SCHEDULED?
The lead cast of the show included are, Ben Platt as Payton Hobart, Zoey Deutch as Infinity Jackson, Lucy Boynton as Astrid Sloan, Bob Balaban as Keaton Hobart, David Corenswet as River Barkley, Laura Dreyfuss as McAfee Westbrook, Jessica Lange as Dusty Jackson, shall be reprising their roles.

Now there is no official trailer that has been a drop out by Netflix, but It can be expected that it might be out in between May and June. Usually, Netflix releases teasers before a month and 2 of releasing the series. Season 1 consists of 8 episodes so even season 2 might have the same.
WHAT WILL BE HAPPEN?
In season 2 we will see Payton going to college and competing for the position of Senate, this season will be a rollercoaster ride for Payton, and we are excited to see it. The game will definitely change High School rules don’t apply anymore, so to see how they adapt to that will be really interesting. Season 1 ended with Payton launching a political campaign for New York State Senate, where the competition will be much more fierce.
