Netflix last week officially announced that they had made the decision to cancel its show Santa Clarita Diet after just 3 seasons and It now appears a reason why might have been revealed. The news of the cancellation came after the final 10 episodes of the Drew episodes and Timothy Olyphant-led zombie comedy dropped on the streaming service March 29. The show creators Victor Fresco and Executive producer Tracy Kautsky said in a joint statement Like Our audience, we were all in one sheila and Joel. Netflix took a chance on this odd show and for that we will always be grateful.
There will be no season 4 for Netflix’s Dark comedy Santa Clarita Diest as the streaming giant has opted to cancel the series starring Drew Barrymore and Timothy Olyphant. The news comes almost a month after the March 29 release of the show’s season 3.
On April 26, 2019, Netflix officially announced the cancellation of the show for any seasons. The fans start hashtags like Twitter and #save Santa Clarita Diet campaigns to save their favorite show. Netflix took a chance on this show and for that we all always be thankful. They were only 1 phone call away from being an excellent studio.
According to some reports, the budget issue was the highlighted cause of the cancellation of the show. Netflix didn’t make a profit from the show as compared to its other original shows. That’s the reason why they decided to cancel the show only after it stuck a 100% approval rating on Rotten Tomatoes.
