Noblesse is a South Korean web manhwa and webtoon comic. This show is written by Son Jeho and illustrated by Lee Kwangsi. There has been a webtoon, a DVD release back in 2015, and an OVA release in 2016 in 2016 by Production I.G. The new 2020 anime show will be a Crunchyroll original. The new show is a collaboration between Webtoons and Crunchyroll. In this collaboration, Crunchyroll will adapt famous webtoons into anime.
The filming of the anime show took a huge 11 years, according to Jeho Son, during his interview, It was developed by Production I.G and Naver webtoons. The series will be simulcast on the streaming platform.
The entire story of the anime is fully based on the comic series, so the story is out there. One of the dreams was to have one of our works showcased as a TV animation, which came true. This was all thanks to our audience, who showed love for Noblesse. I would like to thank never Webtoon and Production I.G for doing an amazing job on the animation.
According to new reports by Yonkou Productions, an anime content maker, two popular webtoons are set to get an anime. Tower of God and Noblesse are the two series being adapted and It appears the news broke as Seoul Comic-Con. Productions did say the projects would be done by Japanese anime studios, but there is no word on how the projects will debut.
This announcement is an exciting one as South Korea has produced dozens of world-famous manhwa titles, but they have lacked anime adaptions for some time.
