There are some shows that capture the public’s attention, dominating conversations at work, online and in the group chats. This show sits firmly in that category. The Love is blind Netflix reality series pairs up individuals who ” date” without coming face-to-face, communicating via their individual ”pods”. Then, if they’re feeling the love, the contestants can propose both finally get to see who they’ve been talking to. The pair then go on holiday together, after which they spent a period of time living together before the day of the wedding.
LOVE IS BLIND SEASON 2 RELEASE DATE: WHEN WILL IT AIR?
The first five episodes of season ones were arrived on Netflix on February 13, followed by episodes six-nine on February 20. The finale hit screens a week later.
The coronavirus pandemic has stalled the vast majority of productions, so the show’s second season could arrive significantly later than February 2021.
LOVE IS BLIND SEASON 2 CASTING: WHO’S IN IT?
Season 1 was shot in Atlanta, GA between October and November 2018, but the next installment will take over the Windy City.
During the March 2020 announcement, Netflix confirmed that casting for Season 2 is currently taking place in Chicago, IL. It’s unclear if Season 3 will also take place in the same location.
Love Is Blind creator Chris Coelen previously told Variety, “We wanted people to all to be living, currently in the same place. It’s too difficult if you’re from Tampa and they’re from Portland, that just throws another wrench in. We wanted to give them a real shot at making their love and their marriage working.”
THE SET STILL EXISTS.
Coelen told OprahMag.com that the dating “pods” still exist, and are probably just in storage somewhere. Basically, Love Is Blind could be returning for Season 2, and the “pods” are ready to help a whole new cast of single people find love.
