Dating Around is an American reality dating web television series on Netflix. It is the first original dating series that Netflix has produced. This show is created by Chris Culvenor. Season 2 of Dating Around will once again consist of 6 self-contained episodes. News of Dating Around’s return comes as Netflix prepares to launch another potentially buzzy dating franchise. The Netflix show quietly arrived last year and delighted audiences with its simplicity, 2 people would meet up for a date, see if they hot it off in a typical date setting.
The streaming service has already filmed season 2 and will release it later this year. Each episode of Dating Around features one later going on 5 blind dates. The dates which occur at the same bar and restaurant are edited together to make each of the around 30-minute long episodes.
Season 1 of Dating Around took place in New York City and featured a diverse cast of daters who were all across the board in age, sexual orientation, and ethnicity.
