Dark is a German Netflix original web show. This show is co-created by Baran bo Odar and Jantje Friese, which may begin as a show about the disappearance of a young boy in a fictional small town called Winden and all the strange occurrences that happen after that sounds exactly like Stranger Things. The season 3 and final season, which will be released on Netflix next weekend, still focuses on the same head-scratching storylines as the first two iterations, but it also offers the audience a perfect and bittersweet closure at the end of its journey.
The release date of season 3 must be June 26, 2020, and However, this date is not officially confirmed now and may be postponed because of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Season 2 left us with a high score bluff holder with an alternate World version of Maratha showing up minutes after Adam shoots Original World Martha expressing. The german language show dropped jaws with its season 2 finale, meaning anticipation is high for where it will go next and speculation is rampant over what the ultimate fate of Jonas Kahnwald will be.
Dark season 3 will be the grand finale of the meticulously planned show, as officially confirmed by co-creator Baran bo Odar and his Instagram page. The one is absolutely the vaguest. In Dark most situations are life and death so there’s no real storyline that sticks out here.
With a show as complex as this, there’s bound to be some plot hole clean up, and this episode sounds like Drak’s attempt to do just that. As for why Dark is ending just as events seem to be kicking into overdrive, It was an artistic choice in following the initially-conceived trajectory of the story.
