Netflix’s Amazing Romance, The Kissing Booth 2 is comedy back with a sequel and they have already wrapped production on the fan-demanded movie. In the official video announcing the sequel movies, fans couldn’t help but notice that one person was missing Jacob Elordi, who act beloved bad-boy, Noah Flynn. When Jacob and Joey met on the set of The Kissing Booth, it sparked a whirlwind romance. And the happy couple was not about to hide new love. But the breakup didn’t stop the couple from saying “Yes” to a sequel to the movie that generated their real-life love story. Netflix officially announced a sequel to Kissing Booth 2 on Valentine’s Day 2019.
The Kissing Booth 2 is already in production so It’s kind of shocking to see that Jacob Elordi was the only one missing at the 2019 kids’ Choice Awards.
Back in Late, 2018, the couple sparked breakup rumors when Joey stopped posting about Jacob, who went on his own social media hiatus. In March, Joey officially confirmed the break-up in an interview and spoke about how she’s coping. And one of the big themes of the discussion was about how social media played into their relationship.
Currently, It was rumored the Jacob was dating Zendaya, who he met on their show Euphoria. It appears that he’s currently single. Since, the break-up, Joey has been spotted with Steven Piet, an executive producer, and director on her show. After going dark on social media in 2018, Jacob decided to reboot his account in the new year, posting his first-ever pic in months on New Year’s Day. Jacob has only posted 6 more photos. While the couple didn’t make a lot of red carpet appearances together, It’s been a couple of months since they went to an event as each other’s date.
The Golden Globes ended up becoming one of the hottest nights in Hollywood, so it wasn’t surprising to see Jacob out and about having some fun. While Jacob usually takes Joey as his date to press events and after-parties, he opted to hang out which one of his newer co-stars, Hunter Schafer, instead.

The Kissing Booth creators recently opened up about the possibility of a sequel. There’s a chance that the reason why a sequel is not the works yet is because of Jacob and Joey’s breakup.
