The Hulu adaptation of the Celeste Ng novel Little Fires Everywhere has taken viewers by storm since it debuted on March 17. The series centers around the class, privilege, and racial divides between matriarchs Elena Richardson (Reese Witherspoon) and Mia Warren (Kerry Washington) and their families is a small town in the ’90s. From the performances to the twists and turns in the plot, viewers haven’t been able to get enough of the series, which drops new episodes on Wednesdays.
While Little Fires Everywhere was originally billed as a miniseries, may are hoping that the show might continue like Reese’s other show, Big Little Lies dis. Though the novel concluded after the identity of the arsonist was revealed, there is potential that the war between Elena and Mia will continue.
ONE STAR HAS EXPRESSED INTEREST IN ANOTHER SEASON
Gavin Lewis, who plays Elena Richardson’s (Reese Witherspoon) four kids, Moody, played with the idea of continuing the series in a recent with The Wrap.” I think the book definitely has a solid, definite ending. And I don’t want to call it a cliffhanger, but it does leave some possibilities open. And there is, of course, there is always a conversation of a second season on a television set. I mean, everybody talks about that. But you never know, that’s something you find out long dow with the line, I have done projects where they were like, we are definitely doing the season 2, and then there’s nothing or a second season comes out later. But I would be more than interested in coming back for a second season. Rease and Kerry are phenomenal and the cast, everybody got along super well and I think there is plenty more story to be had if the writers decide to come back and do something more”.
HOW MANY EPISODES ARE IN ‘LITTLE FIRES EVERYWHERE’?
Those who have been surviving during the coronavirus quarantine by watching Little Fires Everywhere as each episode drops on Wednesday might be disappointed to learn that the show will be ending on April 22. The series has eight episodes, Six of which have been already been released on the streaming site.
