Joaquin Phoenix set the standards of being joker after heath ledger and the likes of Mark Hamill in the world of games and animated series. He got crowned with the best accolade for the best actor. Joker is in a lot of speculations after its release as the flick is none less than a Phoenix who rose from the ashes. Currently, everyone is focused on its sequel which could be nothing than just a rumor for now. If we are talking about a possible sequel in these 2 to 3 years, Its nothing more than a dream.
The COVID-19 pandemic already wiped out the existence of co-existing works, so thinking about the Joker sequel is stupidity Likes of Wonder Woman release date is postponed and many TV shows are still lagging behind.
Joker’s film ended with a simple story as many fans were dreaming of the end doesn’t indicate a story buildup. we all know that the story messed up with timelines as Joker is not so elder than Batman. Both Phoenix and Phillips have maintained that any Joker sequel would have to feel drastically different in story and tone than their record-breaking blockbuster. Even though it’s set in the 1980s Joker was seen by many as being relevant to today’s times, with its depiction of an ugly and downtrodden society that takes a toll on those less fortunate.
Batman’s origins are reportedly off the table for a Joker sequel as Warner Bros is already producing a standalone Batman film with director Matt Reeves and star Robert Pattinson. The movie, entitled The Batman already has a June 25, 2021 release date. The story point would then oped up Warner Bros. Pictures to get Robert Pattinson’s Batman into these Joker movies, and I don’t think that should be the road they go down.
