Currently, The next episode of The Grand Tour Presents, which is officially confirmed to take hosts Clarkson, James May and Richard Hammond to Madagascar is due this year Amazon has officially confirmed on Twitter. Back in April, It was revealed that the latest episode was 2 to 3 weeks from being complete. TV and Film production is facing so many difficulties and challenges right now. Russia is nearing 700,000 COVID-19 cases, which is bound to create challenges for filming a new episode of the show there.
WHEN WILL IT RELEASE EPISODE 2?
The fans have been anticipating the next episodes of The Grand Tour but almost 8 months in and there is still no sign of a new episode being released on Amazon Prime Video. Now we can officially confirm that episode 2 of The Grand Tour season 4 should be released before the end of this year. Through Clarkson tweets, we can also decipher that 3 episodes can be officially confirmed so far. The COVID-19 outbreak has pushed back the production of almost every major TV show and movie. We expect episode 2 release out by late 2020 and early 2021.
DO WE KNOW WHAT THE EPISODE 4 PLOT WILL BE?
It was revealed the upcoming series would have a different feel as the stars decided to shake-up the tent-based format of the show and go back to their more adventurous roots. Well, there are some good reasons as to why The Grand Tour has been cut down. First and foremost is the fact that making a special takes a lot of time and effort. The Grand Tour season 3 premiered in which a teary-eyed Jeremy Clarkson explained that the show would be moving towards specials the only format. But we do know that Clarkson while promoting Seaman said to GlobalNews that the next episode starts in La Reunion and then ends largely in Madagascar. After the next episode, the plan is to film in Russia.
