The first half of Into the Badlands season 3 wrapped up in June of 2018, fans then had to visit several months before there was any news of the show’s return. In to the Badlands were officially after AMC Bosses broke the news during the TV Critics Association winter press Tour. AMC will premiere the final episodes of season 3 from March 24 when the series returns from its midseason break.
While AMC is yet to reveal an exact reason behind the cancellation but a number of the season actors have taken to social media to voice their opinions.
AMC officially announced that Into the Badlands would not be renewed for a season 4.
If into the Badlands season 4 is picked up by a different network, It may take time before anything is officially announced. And a couple of months would be the earliest to get a word, and If a season 4 did happen, It would surely be well over a year before.
Season 3 of In to the Badlands has been split into 3 separate stories – The Widow’s war with Baron Chau, Sunny’s quest to save his son, and Pilgrim’s plan to bring salvation to the Badlands. The death of Baron Chau, in particular, will help streamline the season and allow the main characters to eventually come together for a common goal.
