DuckTales is an animated television series of America, developed by Matt Youngberg and Francisco Angones originally just for Disney XD, and then later for Disney Channel as well. Produced by Disney Television Animation, the series is a reboot of the original 1987 series of the same name. DuckTales was officially announced in February 2015 and premiered on August 12, 2017, with a 44-minute special titled “Woo-oo!” The first season, which resumed on September 23, 2017, consisted of 21 further twenty-two minute episodes and a 44-minute season finale special. Before the series was released, it was renewed for a second season on March 2, 2017.
DUCKTALES SEASON 3 RELEASE DATE
Fresh out of Duckburg comes the news that Season 3 of the Emmy Award-nominated DuckTales will debut with two new episodes Saturday, April 4th, 2020, (9:30 a.m. EDT/PDT), on Disney XD and DisneyNOW.
WHO’S VOICE IN THE DUCKTALES SEASON 3: CAST?
During the DuckTales panel at San Diego Comic-Con 2019, many of the third season characters additions were presented, including several characters from Disney Afternoon and other Disney Television Animation series:-
- David Tennant as Scrooge McDuck.
- Danny Pudi as Huey Duck.
- Ben Schwartz as Dewey Duck.
- Bobby Moynihan as Louie Duck.
- Kate Micucci as Webby Vanderquack.
- Beck Bennett as Launchpad McQuack.
- Toks Olagundoye as Mrs. Beakley.
- Tony Anselmo as Donald Duck.
- Paget Brewster as Della Duck.
None of the voice actors named in the official press release were tied to specific roles. It is presumed, however, that Tress MacNeille will be playing Daisy Duck and Bill Farmer will be voicing Goofy, as both actors are the official voices of those characters at Disney. Beyond that, it’s anyone’s guess what we may see and hear in season 3 of DuckTales. The only certainty is that it will be a duck-blur, whether or not we get any race-cars, lasers or airplanes.
