Cells at Work are a comedy anime that shows a reflection of Akane Shimizu’s manga series. On January 26, 2015. The show is promoted by the fans, David production adopted the series because of its great followers. It was released on July 8, 2018. This anime show is widely different and is entirely based on the human body and ever thought how our bodies function. Season 1 is currently streaming on Netflix, Crunchyroll, and Funimation. Season 2 is officially on the way.

There is officially announced on March 23rd, 2019 for its renewal. We can only expect it to release in July with the situation permits. Currently, We all know due to the current situation of COVID-19 pandemic all the ongoing developments have been halted. If the situation doesn’t permit then it will eventually get delayed.
DO WE KNOW WHAT THE PLOT WILL BE?
The plot of the show takes place inside a random human body where there are trillions of anthropomorphic cells. However, the show mainly focuses on the adventures of a rookie red blood cell AE3803, and a relentless white blood cell U-1146. The 2 cells play there part in the human body and also share details. The production team has officially announced the upcoming series. The show is still in the production stage but the team has officially confirmed the release of Cells At Work season 2 in January 2021.
The Cells at Work season 2 anime is being produced by animation studio David Productions which is also working on the upcoming Fire Force season 2 anime and most of the main staff are returning except for the director. Season 1 was 13 episodes and streamed on Crunchyroll A Cells At Work English dub was released with the blue-ray box set in 2019.
