Castle Rock is an American psychological Horror anthology show that airs on the Hulu Network. Season 1 is released on July 25, 2018. This show is based on stories by Stephen King and heavily draws from his novella collection revolving around the city if Castle Rock.
Castle Rock has not yet been renewed for season 3, that’s not important cause for concern. The creator’s Sam Shaw and Dustin Thomason already have a plan for another season. The plan was always to have an interconnected set of stories and while every season would be its own launching point, there would be this fabric of Stephen’s multiverse.
The anthalogy nature of the show makes the potenital story for Castle Rock season 3 difficult to predict. Castle Rock has yet to be officially renewed for a season 3 by Hulu, leaving the fate of both the show and the town in limbo.
It seems that we all have to wait until season 3 to checkout what’s going on in the largest story of the town.
Castle Rock was renewed for a season 2 about midway through the run of season 1 of episodes, so we may not have to wait long to hear about season 3. The Show attempts to combine the mythological scale and intimate character storytelling of King’s best-loved works, weaving an epic saga of darkness and light, played out on a few square miles of Maine woodland.
The themes that are prevalent in King’s works make themselves evident in the show. The initial season kicks off with the suicide of the warden at Shawshank which we see at the end of the Morgan Freeman starring movie.
In season , we watch the story of Castle Rock from a differnet presepective, and the official synopsis describes it and the result of season 2 leaves many mysteries hanging and follows Annie Wilkes as she progresses to become the diabolical nurse we meet in Misery.
