A Quiet Place 2 which released in 2018 beguiled the audience and it globally grossed over $340 million and was also critically acclaimed. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the release date has been until autumn. Paramount Pictures released a statement expressing their concern about the ongoing pandemic.
A Quiet Place 2 was one of the first films to fall victim to the COVID-19 outbreak as it was pulled from the schedule weeks before it was due to be released. The first movie threw the audience into this world in which humanity has been nearly wiped out by these alien creatures. Given the concept of the movie, going with a smaller story was smart and backstory of how this came to be felt unnecessary.

The release date has been delayed due to the COVID-19, the production is blessing us with featurettes to keep us on our toes. And the Trailer was nothing short of a mini roller-coaster ride. A 30 seconds teaser was dropped on 31 January which was made for ad breaks during the Super Bowl.
WHEN WILL A QUIET PLACE 2 RELEASE?
The sequel of the movie was destined for a spring release, 20th March 2020. On 18th December 2019 John Krasinski. The director and actor of the movie announced the release date with a poster. Although originally scheduled to Hit UK cinema, as 20th March 2020, the release of A Quiet Place 2 has been suspended due to the worldwide COVID-19 pandemic.
The movie’s release has now moved to 4th September 2020.
