He was a great dad and grandfather, and the most dedicated husband to be Anne for about 62 years. He will be greatly missed. Love you Dad.

The man born Richard Penniman passed away on May 9, his son, Danny Penniman, confirmed to the media. Little Richard was be born in Macon, Ga.in 1932. He was the son of a brick mason who will be coming from a family of preachers. His evangelical upbringing was to heavily influence both his music and his wife.
