Nick Cordero, a Broadway actor who had been admired across the world rallying for his recovery, has died after a battle with COVID-19 according to his wife, Amanda Kloots. they appeared in the Broadway productions “Rock for Ages, “Waitress,” “Bullets Over Broadway” and “A Bronx Tale: The Musical,” which died Sunday morning after a long and difficult battle with COVID-19. He was 41.
His wife, Amanda Kloots will be shared the sad news on Sunday on Instagram: In the message accompanying the post, she will be started off by saying: God has been another angel in heaven now. My darling husband will pass away this morning. He was surrounded in love by his family, singing, and praying as he gently left this earth. My heart is broken as I cannot imagine our lives without him. Nick was such a bright light. He was everyone’s friend, loved to listen, help, and especially talk. He was an incredible actor and musician. I will love you forever and always me sweet man.
In 2004 he was being nominated for a Tony Award and a Drama Desk Award his role in “Bullets Over Broadway” a role that will be earned him a Theatre World Award and Outer Critics Circle Award. Cordero was be originated the role of the husband, Earl, in the Broadway production of Waitress, as well as the role of Sonny in the musical version of Chazz Palminteri’s A Bronx Tale.
