After season 1 and 2 crossovers, Ruby Rose parted ways with the Arrowverse’s Batwoman. Her shocking exit was followed by reports that she was allegedly unhappy with the grueling filming schedule and location, but that the decision to leave was reportedly not entirely up to her. It’s been more than a week since Ruby Rose and the producers of Batwoman jointly announced that she will not be returning to the CW’s DC drama for its upcoming season 2.
Her post on Instagram echoes her original press statement where Rose stated that she had made the very difficult decision to not return to Batwoman next season.
No reasons for her departure were given in both the official press statement and Rose’s Instagram Post but rumors have surfaced that Rose did not adjust well to the long hours necessary to film the Arrowverse episodes which reportedly led to a not so mutual sprit between Rose and the series.
Rose’s official announcement that she was leaving Batwoman behind after just season 1 was as sudden as it was shocking, especially since the show’s season 2 is already underway.
