During the Interview, Alice Cooper was asked about Metallica and the kind of reaction they received, especially at the time they were having their breakthrough with their song “Fade to Black” they released in 1984.
The official Instagram page of Metallica has posted the picture series of the band’s frontman James Hetfield and the father of late Metallica bassist Cliff Burton, Ray Burton after his unexpected death. Ray Burton passed away on January 15, at age of the 94. His death affected the whole rock and roll world, but his closet friends, including James Hetfield, and the rest of his family felt more suffering James is till on a treatment program for serious alcohol addiction but he broke his silence after Ray’s sad loss.
Alice Cooper considered this as being a great stage performance because they represented a generation that was underground before. He also said this was exactly why he was liked. I always looked at Metallica as being sort of the metal band he emphasized adding that their combination of talent anger and good live performances made for the perfect cocktail.
I looked at it as a stage thing because that’s how I look at things almost Broadway-ish. And I think Metallica was a threat, but they were also making amazing hit records. That’s the Willy Wonka gold key is the hit record.
