Amber Heard could be imprisoned for at least three years if she is to be found guilty for domestic violence case against her former husband, Johnny Depp. The 33-year-old actress and the pirates of the Caribbean actor began dating from 2010 and tied the knot in February 2015. But their relationship turned sour when heard alleged Depp of physical abuse and domestic violence and then they eventually separated in 2017.
However, the black mass actor has vehemently denied the allegation and instead accused amber Heard of being an actual abuser. The 53-year-old actor has now sued heard for a $50 million defamation case after she wrote for the Washington Post, mentioning that Depp perpetrated domestic violence.
Furthermore, Depp also sued a British newspaper, the sun, after the news company called the actor wife-beater in one of their stories. He is made of them because the story has caused the actor to lose his role for the pirates of the Caribbean film series.
Depp and his legal team have also produced evidence that depicts the actress who has been abusing deep. They claimed that the impulsive allegations made by Amber Heard and constituted a hoax against the actor. Amber Heard alleged that she sustained multiple bruises and injuries all over her body as a result of the abuse and submitted the same evidence to the court. But later heard’s stylist Samantha McMillen reported that there weren’t any visible marks of the injuries or the bruises across her body.
The reports then suggested that the actress had either manipulated or faked the evidence regarding domestic violence. Of she is found guilty of tampering the evidence, then under California penal code section 141 PC, she would be certainly sentenced for three years in prison.
