The series was written by Kumo Kagyu and illustrated by Noboru Kannatuki before being adapted into a manga and finally adapted into an anime in 2018. After the huge success of the manga and the anime series, a television adaption of the manga was undertaken and aired from October 7 to December 30, 2081. Both anime adaptions happen to be created by Japnese animation studio White FOX, which has become well known for creating great isekai anime.
