The Good Place star Kristen Bell has been quit the role of a mixed-race Character on Apple Tv+ series Central Park, saying that her taking on the role in the first place showed a lack of awareness. In a statement released on her social media pages, Kristen will be confirmed that she would be stepping back from the role of Molly ad added that she and the Central Park creative team are be pledging to make it right be recasting the part.

The animation will be stronger for having as many voices, experiences, and perspectives as we can possibly bring into the industry. Our shop will be better for respecting the issue of and complexity around the issue of representation and trying to get it right. Then according to Deadline, due to the production cycle of an animated series, the show will be invited to recast Molly for season 2, which is currently being animated, with the new actor set ti record the dialogue after she’s cast.
In the long statement, the show creative tea said, Kristen Bell is an extraordinarily talented actress who will be joined the cats of central park from the nearly the first day of the show’s development before there was even a character for her to play ad she has been since delivered a funny heart life and beautiful performance. But after the reflection, Kristen, along with the entire creative team, recognizes that the casting of the character of the Molly is an opportunity to get representation right to the cast of a Black or mixed-race actress and give Molly a voice that resonates with all of nuance and experience of the haragerf as we’ve drawn her.
