The Order return to Netflix for a season 2 this week with more wizard-werewolf rivalry and secret society drama. The show which released on Netflix, in March 2019, follows Belgrave University Student Jack Morton as he joins the Hermetic Order of the Blue Rose, a secret society that teaches magic. Throughout season 1, we saw Jack join the Hermetic Order of the Blue Rose in Order to avenge his mother’s death and take down his estranged father and the society’s leader Edward Coventry. Netflix officially announced season 2 of the Order back in March 2019, and while a full trailer has not been released. the streamer published a video announcing the renewal which shows Jack and his mystical friends pour a blue liquid onto a book, causing it to burst into flames.
Jake Manley will go back to reprise his role as protagonist Jack Morton alongside actress Sarah Grey who performs with Alyssa Drake. In Episode 9, we observed Jake’s grandfather Pete being murdered by Jake’s estranged dad Edward so we can rule Matt Frewer. Other cast members who might return include Katherine Isabelle as Vera Stine, Devery Jacobs as Lilith Bathory, Louriza Tronco as Gabrielle Dupres, Thomas Elms as Hamish Duke and Adam Dimarco as Randall Carpio.
Season 1 of The Order follows Manley’s character, Jack as he enrolls at Belgrave University with the specific purpose of tracking down his father who, along with the Hermetic Order of the Blue Rose, may have had something to do with his mother’s mysterious death. The Knights struggled to region their memories stolen from them by the Order.
